With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Carter of Many, Louisiana, who passed away on May 25, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis Jefferson Carter and Myra Mae Albritton Carter. He is survived by: his children, Mike Carter (Cindy) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Carolyn Ricks (Hanan) of Many, Louisiana, Jeffery Carter (Lori) of Roswell, Georgia and Ginger Dugas (Glenn) of Lafayette, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Jacque Ricks Wright, Jimmy Ricks, Kathy Carter Gibbons, Rev. David Carter, Amanda Carter and Travis Carter; his great grandchildren, Ty, Brooke Thurman, Sophie and Carter Gibbons; his grandchildren, Isaac Babin and Olivia Ricks; his sister Rosa Carter Crane (Dale) of Pineville, Louisiana; and his wife Elsie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Word of Truth Church (2252 Texas Hwy, Many, LA 71449). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
