He was predeceased by: his wife Stephany Stutts; his parent Annie Stutts; and his siblings, Hattie Mae Brown, Gladis Ballard, Lessie Kirkland, Dessie Savell, Larry Stutts, Chester Stutts and Earl Stutts.
He is survived by: his children, William Heilman of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Teresa Tilley (Thomas) of Natchitoches, Karen Heilman of Lafayette and Angela Palmer (Roy) of Zwolle, Louisiana. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
