He is survived by: his wife Margaret Josephine Anderson; his children, Joseph Darien Basco, Jr. (Lou), Tracey Lintzen (Todd), Brett Basco (Rachel) and Amy Basco; his grandchildren, Adyson McMillian Leach (T. J.), Trevor Lintzen, Cori Basco Burrell (Cody), Trent Lintzen (Victoria), Kirsten Basco, Brent McMillian, Jr. (Zoey), Darien McMillian (R. J.) and Remy Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Mak, Boone Leach, Malakai, Mia McMillian, Joseph Dack and Jordan Burrell.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Catholic Church (1130 San Antonio Ave, Many, LA 71449).
