He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald H. Dziekan and Hattie Mae Dziekan (Sandel); and his sister-in-law Rebecca Dziekan. He is survived by: his siblings, Donna Brandon of Florien, Dennis Dziekan of Many and Jerome Dziekan (Debra) of Florien. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
