He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Bossom Silvio; his parents, Jospeh E. Silvio and Nona Ladotta Silvio; his siblings, Carlo Silvio (Fletia Gullo), Mary Katherine Silvio Fletcher (Buddy), Esther Silvio Henson (Hillard), Frances Silvio Morel (Paul) and Antionette "Tutta" Manola (Flicka); and his granddaughter Jana Hoffman.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Silvio Pecoraro and Chris Silvio (Cyndi Menard Silvio); his grandchildren, Jeremy Hoffman (Amy), Cassie Silvio Schaffield (Brandon) and Megan Silvio Kysar (Brett); his great grandchildren, Makenzie Hoffman (Luke), Paige Hoffman, Lucas Grimmer, Abbigayle Grimmer, Jackson Hoffman, Maddi Jo Kysar, Kaelynn Grace and Lily Ann Schaffield; and his great great grandchild Weston Derise. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (11140 LA-77, Maringouin, LA 70757).
