He is survived by: his wife Joanie Buffington Franklin; his children, Julie Franklin, Amy Franklin, Joshua Schmitt (Brook) and Ashley Dalrymple (Boyd); his brother Kenneth Franklin (Becky); his sister-in-law Bonnie Franklin; his grandchildren, Amber McKinnie (Tony), Adam Byrnside (Kelsey), Roman Womble, Landon Jinks, Bo Dalrymple, Brock Dalrymple, Cooper Barkley and Teddie Ella Schmitt; and his great grandchildren, Masy Taylor, Milli Bell Taylor, Maze, Meadow Taylor and Alexander Nicholas Robinson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
