She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Adams and Issabelle Adams; her child Mitchel LaPrarie; her former husband Kenneth Smith; her sons, Dooley "Man" LaPrarie and Milton "Milt" LaPrarie; her niece Judy "Nay-Nay" Normand; and her great great grandchild Addilyn LaPrarie.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra (LaLa) Bordelon (Mark); her grandchildren, Shawn LaPrairie (Shawna), Brandi Bordelon (Joey), Derik LaPrarie (Tera), Ashley Watts (Drew) and Danielle Wiley (Jonathan); her stepgrandchildren, Lance Bettevy and Lindsey Bettevy; her great grandchildren, Shawn LaPrairie Jr., Wesley Plummer, Jacob LaPrairie, Isabella "Belle" Watts, Ethan LaPrarie, Amelia Watts, Kolton Mathews, Luke Wiley and Lily Wiley; her daughter-in-law Sue; and her friend Carl Huffman. She is also survived by five great-great-grandchildren.
