He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth Hamilton Elmer; his parents, Marilyn Decuir Elmer and Willie Ray Elmer; his sister Heather Tassin (Scott); his nephew Philip Reid (Katelin); and his niece Ashley Tassin. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extend family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 8:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. John the Baptist Fellowship Hall (334 Community Center Rd, Marksville, LA 71351). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (334 Community Center Rd, Marksville, LA 71351).
The family request that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Mary Birde Perkins Cancer Foundation, in memory of Clay.
