He is survived by: his wife Christine Gagnard Lyles; his children, James "Jim" Lyles, Jr. (Jennifer) of McKinney, TX., Thomas Lyles (Emily) of Lafayette, LA., Sarah Lyles (Christina) of Center, TX. and Catherine Claiborne (Jason) of Denton, TX.; his brothers, Ricky Lyles of Cheneyville, LA. and Bobby Lyles of Forest Hill, LA.; his grandchildren, Christopher, Katelyn, Connor, Aubrey, Olivia and Nathaniel; and his great grandchild Marcella. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.
