It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janette Gonzales (Marksville, Louisiana), who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur B. Lavalais and Jane Burell Lavalais. She is survived by : her significant other Nelson Gonzales Sr. of Marksville; her daughter Vickie Lynn Dunn (Mark) of Sacramento, California.; her grandchildren, Mark, Jillian, Kiara, Hillary, Willie (RJ), Rebeka, Brook, Blaire, Bailey and Landon; her great grandchildren, McKenzie, Markel, Kamiah, Marco, Malaya, Heira Cloe and Reah; her siblings, Pearl Hodges of Houston, Herrit Daranda, Russell Lavalais (Geneva) of Houston and Oscar Lavalais (Cynthia) of Pontiac, Michigan; and her godson Brian Hudson of Lake Charles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
