He is survived by: his children, Karen Smith (Robert) of Melville, LA and Joseph Arno (Joy) of Hessmer; his grandsons, Michael Smith (Ashley) of Baton Rouge, LA and Julian Simmons; and his great grandchild Brye Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
