With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Marcotte Pharr of Marksville, Louisiana, born in Cottonport, Louisiana, who passed away on April 23, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fitz; her son Richard "Dickie" Tassin; her stepdaughter Paige Elizabeth Pharr; and her parents, Ira Marcotte and Kathleen Mayeux Marcotte.
She is survived by: her sons, Chad Tassin (Jamie Coco) of Marksville and Jason Tassin (Alissa) of Marksville; her stepchildren, Lori Pharr Lewis (Tod) of Shreveport, Fitzgerald'Butch'Pharr, III of Sarasota, FL and Jonas Pharr of Shreveport; her grandchildren, Ava Prejean, Bronson Tassin, Colton Tassin, Elizabeth Tassin, Kade Sonnier, Kenley Sonnier and Kiley Sonnier; her brother Ira Marcotte, Jr. (Phil Marcotte) of Marksville; and her sister-in-law Tina Cartimiglia of New Iberia.
