We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2023, at the age of 74, Mitchel Gerald Bernard of Marksville, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Otride J. Bernard and Odile M. Lemoine Bernard; his brother Roger P. Bernard; his father-in-law John J. Vead; and his nephew Chad Vead.
He is survived by : his wife Carolyn V. Bernard; his children, Roger P. Bernard (Angela) and Allison B. Evans (Gregory); his sister Irene A. Bernard; his grandchildren, Shelbie Bernard, Cassie Hardie, Cole Evans and Caden Evans; his mother-in-law Sylvia B. Saucier; his brother-in-law Johnny Vead; and his niece Emily Vead.
The family also wishes to express their most sincere thanks to everyone for their prayers, their love, support, food and donations.
