We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025, at the age of 70, Roger John Lachney (Marksville, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Roger find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stravis Lachney and Gloria Lachney; and his brother Keith Lachney. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Lachney of Hessmer, LA; his children, Jenna Lachney of Birmingham, AL, Brock Lachney of New Orleans, LA and Cody Lachney of Hessmer, LA; and his sister Melanie Maddox (James Walter).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Escude Funeral Home (6608 Porterie St, Mansura, LA 71350). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (141 S Washington St, Marksville, LA 71351).
