Sandra Barbin McLendon Tassin Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Barbin McLendon Tassin of Marksville, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Jimmie Faye Brumlow-Barbin; and her brother Everett Barbin. She is survived by: her father Eugene Joseph Barbin of Marksville; her husband Keith Tassin of Marksville; her children, Richard McLendon of Riverside, California, Charlene McLendon (Ernesto) of Ogden, Jessica Tassin of Lafayette and Jonni Beach (Mason) of Mansura, Louisiana; her brother Robert Barbin (Mary Jo) of McCalla, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Jace, Christian, Jesus, Austin, Jamison and Chloe. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
