We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2024, at the age of 77, Shirley Carmouche McCann of Marksville, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Hilton "Mac" McCann, Jr.; her parents, Landry Carmouche, Sr. and Gladys Fontenot; and her siblings, Landry Carmouche, Jr. and Eva Mayo.

She is survived by : her children, David Wayne McCann (Velma) of Center Point, Jessica McCann and Melody McCann Scallan of Marksville; her brother-in-law Bobby Mayo; her siblings, Terrell Carmouche Sr. of Marksville, Daniel Carmouche Sr. of Marksville, Davis Carmouche Sr. (Angie) of Marksville and Martha Moras (Abraham) of Hessmer; her grandchildren, Karlie McCann, Hailey Scallan, Brayden Brossette, Avarie Nunez, Isabella Brossette, Blanche Fisher and David Bachman; and her great grandchildren, Karter Alsup, Amelia and Bradley Pruitt. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home (445 E Bontempt St, Marksville, LA 71351).
