She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Bonnette and Verdie Dauzat Chenevert; her brother Wade Bonnette; her grandson Chad Vead; and her children-in-law, Mitchel Gerald Bernard and Cathy Vead.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn V. Bernard and Johnny Vead; her grandchildren, Roger Bernard (Angie), Allison B. Evans (Greg), Emily Vead (Damon), John Moak (Kathy), Scott Moak (Shawn) and Joseph Matthew Ash (Holly); her great grandchildren, Cassie Hardy, Cole Evans, Shelbie Bernard, Caden Evans, Dalton Knight and Landon Knight; and her sister Noemi Blanchard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
