He was predeceased by : his parents, James Montgomery and Julia Dorsey Montgomery; his siblings, Barbara Bell, Vera Beasley and Roger Montgomery; and his godparents, Willie and Mary Mims.
He is survived by : his wife Doris Hammond of Ruby; his daughters, Leslie Payne of Conrow, Tamica Payne of Baton Rouge, Julisha Price of Pineville, Adrianne Allen (Alan) of Alexandria, Tiffany Johnson of Alexandria and Lakeyere Price of Alexandria; his stepson Gerald Johnson of Alexandria, Louisiana.; and his siblings, Willie Hammond of Alexandria, Bruce Montgomery (Cassandra), Willie D. Montgomery of Pineville, Floyd Mims (Lois) of Coushatta, Louisiana, Thelma Woody of Pineville, Shawnte Montgomery of Pineville, Pauline Montgomery of Alexandria, Louisiana. and Paulette King of Alexandria, Louisiana.. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three sister-in-laws, two brother-in-laws, three godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
