With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ada ANTOINE Chancellor of Marrero, Louisiana, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas, Sr. Antoine and Emma Sims Antoine; her siblings, Paul Antoine, Camille Antoine, Phylice Antoine, Oliver Antoine, Sr., Virginia Manshack, Thomas Antoine, Jr. and Marguerite Antoine Jackson; and her close friend Donald Speaks.
She is survived by: her son Warren Chancellor; her grandchildren, Warren Rogers, Shantell Rogers and Shantrice Gloster (Darren); her great grandchildren, Rayianna, Rayshad, Sha'Ray, Darren, Aaron and Cayden; her siblings, Emma L. Jones and Montgomery J. Antoine; her daughter-in-law Nancy Hearn; her godchildren, LaToya Pickens and Chad Antoine; and her close friends, Annette and Marilyn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of Faith (2921 Fourth St, New Orleans, LA 70113). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
