We are sad to announce that, on March 2, 2022, at the age of 79, Carmen Mary Coste (Marrero, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George V. Perez, Sr. and Bessie Mae Laurent; her stepmothers, Evelyn Boswell and Elizabeth Thomas; her parents-in-law, Uless Coste and Victoria Coste; her siblings, Bernard, Aleta Perez Barrow, Elwood, Morrison and Charles; her stepbrother George P. Dugue, Jr. (Jocelyn Watts); and her siblings-in-law, Lorraine Guillaume, Theresa Cochrane, Marcella Girard, Mary Ann Anderson, Uless, Jr., Alvarez and Bernadine Fulton.
She is survived by: her husband Herman Coste, Sr.; her daughter Stephanie Braquet; her granddaughter Gabrielle Coste; her aunt Louise Laurent Williams; her siblings, George V. Perez, Jr. (Pearl Lasseigne), Paul, Kenneth Perez of Dallas, TX, James, Maurice (Geneva Steib), Morris of Lafayette, LA and Juanita Perez; and her siblings-in-law, Gerald Grandpre, Norma Coste Grandpre, Phyllis Flot, Denise Galbreath and Kathryn Duplessis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
