As Carol Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carol Ann. Though Carol Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vera Gomez and Edward Gomez; her husband Irvin Sears; her children, Pete Sears (Terri), Bambi Sears, Susie Grabowski and Robert Sears (Lawreen); her grandchildren, Patrick Sears (Rachel) and Kaitlyn Grabowski; and her brother Edward Gomez, Jr. (Joan). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Restlawn Park Cemetery (3540 US-90, Avondale, LA 70094).
