With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cheryl Ann London Smith of Marrero, Louisiana, born in Harvey, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Pierre and Louise London Pierre; her brother Eric Pierre; her aunts, Valeria London Ellison and Lucille London Brooks; and her uncle Irving (Melvin London).

She is survived by: her children, Rev. Norman Duhon Smith and Natacha Paige Young (Fitzgerald); her grandchildren, India London Paige Tenorio (Kane) and Kolby Shears; her siblings, Danette Pierre, Tanya Pierre, Paulette Pierre and Percy Pierre, Jr.; her aunt Gloria Mae London (Louberta London Williams); her cousins, Daren Johnson (Blanche), Brian Johnson (Teran), Florence Prout, Linda McDonald, Hilda Crosby and Harold Ellis Clark, Sr.; and her friends, Loretta Smith Jackson, Melba Alexander, Beverlee Daisey, Dianne Fennidy, Diane Stewman, Clithua Dibbles, Ella Mae Coleman, Greta Jones and Hazel Ann Roussell. She is also survived by niece, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
