She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hampton and Rita B. Hampton; and her sister Annette Hampton. She is survived by: her children, Shavone Hampton and Keith Hampton; and her siblings, Tierney Shellmire (Jacqueline), Edward Shellmire, Willie Hampton (Natachia), Shelia Johnson (Carl), Carmenzette Moten, Joseph Hampton and Lionel Hampton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
