He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Ruffin and Nathaniel Smart. He is survived by: his wife Connie Smart; his daughter Donnalyn Williams; his stepchildren, Shawn Causey and Torie Jones, Sr.; and his aunt Yvonne Rivers. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
