With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dung Van Nguyen (Marrero, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 78. As we bid Dung farewell, let us not mourn the absence of their physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of their spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Mothe Funeral Homes (7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Restlawn Park Cemetery (3540 US-90, Avondale, LA 70094).
