It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Williams of Marrero, Louisiana, who passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clarence Williams, Sr. and Estoria Batiste Williams; his siblings, Rev. Clarence, Jr., Lawrence, Bertrand, Rev. Irving Williams, Dorothy Laurent, Audrey Washington, Iris Cyprian, Irene Hill, MaryAnn Elcock and Elaine Williams; and his parents-in-law, Riol and Jane Simmons.
He is survived by: his family Christian; his wife Lucy Simmons Williams; his children, Brian (Ericka) and Jeanine Williams; his grandchildren, Joli Walker (Johnny) and Whitney Williams; his siblings, Joseph Williams (Robin), Ruby Williams and Carolyn Black; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine Veal, Carlene Fulton, Rosalie Williams and Daniel Lee Simmons, Sr.. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
