It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elda Mae Taravella of Marrero, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Ray Joseph Taravella; her children, Raye Jean Leastman (Daniel) of New Jersey and Arnell Mary Taravella; her grandsons, Christopher Mastrangelo (Allyson) and Michael Mastrangelo; and her great grandchildren, Audriana and Emma Mastrangelo of New Jersey.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Westlawn Memorial Park (1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056).

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital preferred.
