He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Mary Duncan Gray and George Gray, Sr.; his sister Teryl Ann Gray; his grandparents, Ernest, Virginia Taylor, Royal and Rose Gray; his parents-in-law, Eddie and Enola Trench Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Jessie Mae Brown, Willie Brown, Alfred Brown and Isiah Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Danielle Letrice Gray and Taronse Damian Gray; his wife Jeanette Marie Brown Gray; his daughter-in-law Michelle Diggles; his grandchildren, Hayden Jeremiah Kennedy, George Gray, III and Taronse Damian Gray, Jr.; his siblings, Wanda Buckner, Deidre Gray, Prudence Williams, Brian Gray, Sr. (Audrey) and Sterling Gray; his siblings-in-law, Ceedga B. Hill, Rev. Melba Brown Oubre (Michael Oubre), Ernie Brown, Clementine Brown, Rev. Wesley Brown (Shelia), Rev. Eddie Brown III (Patricia) and George Buckner; his godchildren, Deidre Gray, Duanne Hill, Matthew Gray, Issac Black Jr., Roman Talifero and Carl Singleton Jr.; and his friends, Anthony Jackson, Bennie Davis and Wendell Harang.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church (6223 6th Ave, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
