With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George David Motte III (Marrero, Louisiana), who passed away on March 2, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Motte, and George Motte, Jr.; and his siblings, Alan, Wayne Motte and Anna Barnette.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline C. Motte; his children, Holly Adams (Mark), Sheri Lacava (Steve), Dana Breaux (Steve), Gina Motte, Melissa Luttrell (James) and Crystal Camardelle (Brad); and his siblings, Juanita Doyle, Albert Narvaez, Gail Cassard, Gloria Hill and Karen Motte. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Mothe Funeral Home (7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home (7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A burial was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Westlawn Memorial Park (1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056).
