It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Lawrence Lynch (Marrero, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Russell Lynch, Jr. and Erin Lawrence Lynch. He is survived by : his wife Gertrude "Trudy" Guillory Lynch; his children, Stacie A. Lynch, Colleen K. Lynch and Amanda J. Lynch; his grandson Mason Lawrence Lynch; his brother James R. Lynch, III (Gerri); and his nieces, Jamie McNeice and Claire Calderon. He is also survived by many cousins, other extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
