With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glorious Wilson Menina of Marrero, Louisiana, born in Thibodaux, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandchild Ashton D. Hayes; her parents, Woodrow Wilson and Carrie W. Chatman; and her sister Catherine W. Martin. She is survived by: her children, Mervin Menina, Jr., Alisa M. Guillory, Vernisa M. Hayes, Carrie Menina and Shanon Menina (Malika Wells); her grandchildren, Gerren Lemon, LeJeanne Menina, Dacia Menina, Shanon Menina, Jr., DaVonne Menina, Kiera Hayes and Zyriah Guillory; and her pet Diva Kandi Hayes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Life Faith Ministries (6951 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. Face Masks Are Recommended.
