He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Joseph Chiasson Sr. and Dorothy Terrebonne Chiasson; his daughter Christine C. Strauss (Ben); and his siblings, Robert "Bucky" Chiasson, David Chiasson, Linda Chiasson Farr and Kathleen Chiasson.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine S. Chiasson; his children, Claire C. Impastato (Vincent) and Catherine C. Roy (Chris); his siblings, Dorothy Chiasson Le Boeuf and John O'Neil Chiasson; and his grandchildren, Bryon Biondolillo, Richard Hill Jr. (Wendy), David Biondolillo (Shannon), Jason Hill (Cystal), Leslie, Darensbourg (Barney), Alison Lucas (Paul), Alex Biondolillo (Patricia), Margaret Moreno and Rachel Strauss. He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mothe Funeral Homes (7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
