He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Chopin and Amie Harry Chopin; and his sister Ethel Chopin McKnight. He is survived by: his significant other Judy Noel; his children, Ivan Chopin, Jr., Ireyan Chopin, Trazell Jones and Krislette Chopin; and his siblings, Edward Chopin, Sr., Alvin Chopin, Calvin Chopin, Bessie Chopin Oubre, Rosemary Chopin Wofford, Josephine Chopin Jack, Raymond Chopin and Edmond Chopin. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
