With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette MARIE Houston of Marrero, Louisiana, born in Westwego, Louisiana, who passed away on October 26, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hines and Ethel Henry; and her siblings, Antoinette McGee, Betty Brooks, Fred Houston and Angel Henry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Antoinette Allen (Derrick) and Jeanetta Houston (Miesha); her siblings, Carl Houston, Eddie Houston, Sr., Donrel Hines, Terraza Shears, Calvin Hamburg, Yolanda Howard, Sandrel Hines and Pat Hayes; and her close friend Thomas Saylor. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Davis Mortuary Service (6820 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. Interment: Will be Private. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
