He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ernest Hourcade, Sr. and Ada Hourcade; and his brother Steven Charles Hourcade (Carol). He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Scott Hourcade and Robin LeBourgeois; his grandchildren, George Damien LeBourgeois IV, Jolie LeBourgeois and Mielle LeBourgeois; his sibling Rene Hourcade Boudreaux (Leslie); his nieces and nephews, Amy Schmidt (Christian), Shari Bourg (Charlie), Rhonda Leblanc (Steve), Pam Donato (Danny), Leslie Breaux (late Louis) and Kim Rodriguez (Ralph); his godfather Paran; his son-in-law Damien; and his father-in-law Sonny. He is also survived by family members and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harvey - Mothe Funeral Homes (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Westlawn Memorial Park (1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056).
