We announce the death of Joseph Lawrence Leleux (Marrero, Louisiana), who passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 86. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edolie Leleux and Clophe Leleux; his spouse Matilde Leleux; and his sister Evelyn Morgan (Allie Topuchet). He is survived by: his children, Keith Leleux (Renee), John Douglas, Becky Jones (Woody) and Bridget Groves (Larry); his grandchildren, Joseph "Hokie" Lawrence Leleux II, Jarod Leleux (Katie), Amy Ravia (Kevin), Ry Chapman and Riley Maglalang; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Leleux, Oliver Leleux, Adalee Ravia, Avery Chapman and Ella Chapman; his siblings, Dorothy Chauvin, Rodney Leleux and Bill Leleux (Paul Leleux); and his caregiver Bridget. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Masonic Learning Center of Louisiana, based in Alexandria, Louisiana.
