He was predeceased by: his son Larry Neil Buras, Jr.; his parents, Angus Joseph Buras and Elizabeth Antha Howze Buras; and his brothers, Angus Joseph Buras, Jr. (Martha), Cecil Allen Buras (Vivian) and Paul Turner Buras, Sr. (Salva).
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Adolph Bergeron; his children, Sharm El'Buras Gisclair (Jonathan) and Elizabeth Anne Buras Salamone (Eric); his grandchildren, Arianne Elizabeth Gainey Jackson (Corey), Gabriel Jonathan Buras, Cherie Elizabeth Alwell, Ella Mason Gisclair, Lilly Gisclair and Isabelle Gisclair; and his great grandchildren, Clara Anne Jackson and Callianne Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and devoted friends.
