Joseph Howard and Elonia Smith Howard; her siblings, Amelia Anderson (William), Ophelia Wright (Isreal), Olevia Rogers (Albert), Essie Dee Tyler (JW), Ruby White (Duncan Sr.), Shirley Howard and Joseph Howard, Jr. (Nancy); her daughter-in-law Paula Thompson; her parents-in-law, Samuel A. Sr. and Ethel Jones; and her siblings-in-law, Samuel A. Jones, Jr., Gerald Jones, Ernest Jones, Ruby Cullier (Joseph), Jeanette Jones and Ruth Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Tyrone (Joannette), Kenneth, John (Linda) and Marlon Jones (Quentella); her grandchildren, Dameon Weber (Danielle), Elonia Weber, Danielle George, Tasha Brown (John), Gary Jones (Dawn), Sonia Hampton (Henderson), Lindsey, Danielle O'Connor (Christopher), Whitney, Natari and Samantha Jones; her siblings-in-law, Clifton (Jackie), Vernell, Sr., Ronald Sr. Jones (Sandra), Hattie Shaw Howard and Barbara Jones; and her godchild Mannie White, Sr.. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the New Zion Baptist Church (1131 Garden Rd, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
