He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev Leon Mealancon and Doretha Mealancon; and his siblings, Augustine Ruffin, Walter Mealancon and Doris Mealancon. He is also survived by 6 sisters, 6 brothers, 2 aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Progressive Church (437 Cohen St, Marrero, LA 70072).
