He is survived by: his father Jose Manuel Mata; his wife Louella Gautreaux Mata; his children, Brandy Mata, Lillian Mata, Manuel Mata (Tiffany) and Elvia Mata; his grandchildren, Hailey Allen, Ryan Pittman, Richard Allen Jr., Emma Mata, Alonzo Martinez, Madden Mata and Kailex Reid; and his siblings, Maricela Mata, Lupe Mata, Sonia Galaviz (Martin), Hector Mata (Mayra), Eloy Mercado (Francisco), Jesus Mata (Patricia), Carlos Mata (Veronica) and Veronica Mata. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, loved ones and dear friends.
