He is survived by: his wife Marissa Short Chauvin; his son Dylan Anthony Chauvin (Jasmine); his grandchildren, Kayden and Alayah Chauvin; his siblings, Iris C. Vance (Johnny), Linda C. Dominick, Vera C. Falgout (Reese), Elvia N. Chauvin and Preston P. Chauvin; his sister-in-law Barbara Chauvin; and his pet Legend. He is also survived by eight nieces and four nephews.
