It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Barrero (Marrero, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 22, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Renan Cuevas and Margarita Cuevas. She is survived by: her children, Ashley Natalie Locue (Marcus) and Jessica Nicole Barrero (Jacob); her grandchildren, Alejandra Maria, Isabella Rayne, Cheyenne Elizabeth, Emmalynn Grace, Adaline Bay and London Charles; and her siblings, Renan, Luis, Roberto, Rolando, Margarita and Ramon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
