He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sears, Sr. and Elizabeth Marshall Sears; his grandparents, Cleo Turner and Victoria Marshall; and his siblings, Marsha Lenox, Robert Sears, Jr., Raymos Sears, Lalita Cole, Roberta Sears, Phillip Sears, George Sears and Lisette Sears.
He is survived by: his spouse Lenovia B. Sears; his children, Marshall Dwayne Sears, Sr. (Chassity) and Anya Clarisse Sears Morris (Lawrence); and his siblings, Amanda Johnson, Renita Pitts, Victoria C. Sears and Kevin Washington. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Regular Baptist Church (901 5th St, Gretna, LA 70053). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
