He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Marisco Matherne and Adam Pierre LeCompte; and his brother Alan LeCompte Sr. Melvin. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Damico LeCompte; his children, Melvin Joseph LeCompte Jr. (Michelle) and Doris LeCompte Wild (Chad); and his granddaughters, Krystin LeCompte, Maycee LeCompte, Morgan Domingue and Dhaun Domingue.
Due to the COVID Pandemic, attendees must wear their face mask and practice social distancing for the duration of the visitation and funeral service.
He departed this life on August 18, 2021 due to complications of Parkinson's disease.
