It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Theresa Lory (Marrero, Louisiana), who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, August Thiel and Eva Thiel; her husband Olin Lory; and her siblings, Patrick Thiel, Antonio Theil and Nellie Roach.
She is survived by: her children, Phara Martin and Maria Mims; her grandchildren, Emily Martin, Tamekia Mims, DeLanea Smith, Misty Mims and James Mims Jr.; her great grandchildren, Shawn, Octavia, Kylie, Joey, Kaitlyn, Candy, Nathaniel, Keeton, Mia and Alise; and her sibling Scherron Thiel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
