It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Paul Darren Gilbert of Marrero, Louisiana, who passed away at the age of 53, on January 1, 2022. He was predeceased by: his father David Gerald Gilbert; and his grandparents, James Edward, Iris Ann Browning, Paul Joseph and Olive Reeks Gilbert.

He is survived by: his mother Emma Lee Browning Gilbert; his brothers, David (Mike) and James Daniel Gilbert; and his godchildren, Joshmin Nolan Jr. and Breanna Palmisano. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the testicularcancersociety.org to aid in future research.
