He was loved and cherished by many people including: his child Tennille Hurst (Kyle); his grandchild Kole Hurst; his parents, Virginia Planche and Octave Planche Jr.; his siblings, Octave "Butch" Planche (Loretta), Felix Planche (Karen), Ann Fruge (Bobby), Jenny LeBlanc (Paul), Peter Planche (Angela) and Mark Planche (Tonia); Trene Planche. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072).
