She is survived by: her husband John A. Brooks, Jr.; her children, John A. Brooks, III, Ashleigh E. Brooks, Sr. and Kelsey Brooks Blake; her siblings, Paul Davis and Doris Mosbey; her children-in-law, Dariean Blake and Patsion Price; her parents-in-law, Kathleen L. Brooks and John A Brooks, Sr.; and her sister-in-law Donita Y. Brooks. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (1807 Reverend John Raphael Jr Way, New Orleans, LA 70113). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
