He was predeceased by: his son Jeffrey Lopez; his parents, Nicolasa Del Bosque Lopez and Jesus Lopez; and his siblings, Isabel Barnes, Asunción Guerra, Maria Garibay, Juanita Ramirez, Eloisa Aleman, Jesus Lopez Jr., Juan Jose Lopez and Enrique Lopez.

He is survived by: his children, Jason Lopez (Elizabeth Bradford Lopez) and Janine Olinn; his grandchildren, Erin Fernandez, Lauren Lopez and Peyton Lopez; his former wife Eileen Alkawhaldeh; and his siblings, Manuelita Acevedo, Roberto Lopez and Rogelio Lopez. He is also survived by friends and coworkers.

Due to the infection rate and quarantine of many family members from Covid-19, a celebration of his life will be conducted at a later date.
