He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earl and Camille Sperandeo Lamy; his brothers, John and Harold Lamy; his wife Marcia Ann; and his sons, Dennis Michael and Daniel Patrick.

He is survived by: his children, Raymond, Jr. (Jann), Timothy (Kathleen) and Leslie Champagne (Michael, Sr.); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Rhett, Reid (Lacey), Toby (Julie), L. Nick, Kyle (Abby), Deven-Paul, Trevor (Connie) and Michael Champagne, Jr. (Christine). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
